It has to be done frequently or the bugs take over.

Sprayed on the plant and as a soil drench. Make sure you water your plant in the morning so that the leaves have time to dry before nightfall. Is it cheaper than Amazon if you buy locally? This will help to prevent powdery mildew and other diseases. /*# sourceMappingURL=https://www.redditstatic.com/desktop2x/chunkCSS/TopicLinksContainer.361933014be843c79476_.css.map*/thought the same.

I've still been spraying the plant with alcohol soap solution after I inspect it every 3-5 days. You guys are so great. I sprayed neem oil on a paper towel, wiped all the leaves, and it stayed gone. Mine had the same thing when I brought it home, and wiping it with water never fully removed it. If powdery mildew does appear, the first step is to remove any affected leaves. It's a beaut, but had gotten some damage while at the store. So I just put a tiny drop of soap in one of my spray bottles and periodically I give all of the plants that like misting a quick mist with it.

You only need enough soap to help the water and alcohol spread over the leaf and stem surfaces.

Gene, if nothing else works, I'll grab azamax.

That just looks like residue from tap water to me?

I'm not sure if this is the "right" answer but I personally mist my plants with diluted soapy water relatively regularly.
